Armgosa pics, most are kinda boring I included the drive in and out, I will add some descriptions to them later.

I walked I didnt ride the Parker area, after looking it over decided I should not be taking a ride at this place alone, even to just check it out real quick, I will go back when I have someone with me but first I need to get trail maps so I can find the actual trails they use for the Parker 400 race.

Forgot, if you take your semi to Armgosa you probably wont want to drive in the same way I did I mapped out some stuff on the GPS where you could park that is further down the road once I figure out the GPS/computer thing I will post details.

Cool pics of Glamis. I'll be heading out there in April to go trike riding. It will be my first trip to Glamis.

Here is the same crash only with the hoser rear view cam...

He hits so hard it jars the tape and you see footage for a split second that was taped over.

Here his buddy Matt goes back to find the forward view video camera Nukem had duct taped to the front, it was ripped off in the crash.

When I pulled into Glamis at the end of Gecko road Drakman already was their, the plan was to claim as much real estate as we could for the rest of Dunepilot's crew.

Drakman was using his travel bags of cloths for markers, I replace them with chunks of fire wood.

I was really proud of my 'homestead', two days later it was so full a person could barely walk thru the area.

You can see by the photos who has all the energy, Dunepilot not only shoveled all the sand out of the way, he also swept it and then put down carpeting. Maybe we should tell him to get a quad with a plow on the front?

Although the place is listed as primitive camping, there are vendors for most everyting, they will fill your water tanks, empty your holding tanks, sell you ice, icecream or firewood. The only thing I didn't see was a grocery truck.

You know, I think I passed that same spot with my friend Wally when we were looking around there, is this just on the north side of Parker?

Seems like he said the race was just before we were out there.

I would say it was the south side of Parker, look at the attached pic, see the shea road, then the spectator areas I took the pics at one of the spectator areas, looking at the way the course loops back to the south I would say it was the second spectator area to the right.

Yes that is a different spot, what I saw was north of town, and west of Hiway 95, would have been near the finish, may have been the actual finish area, as there was a large flat area that could have had pits, parking, media, etc.
