I hope your forcast is correct I am ready to ride, how will it be on Thursday? Can you give me detailed directions to the riding area I will be coming from the south (ft myers) on RT75 ... We just got over a inch of rain here in about 1 hr. Thanks |

Updated forecast as of noon: Mid to high 70's, sunny, all weekend. All the rain is supposed to clear out Wedesday night throughThursday morning. The clearing is to start from the north (a good thing). Riding Thursday in Ocala could be ok. Directions from the South: I-75 North to the Florida Turnpike. Florida Turnpike south to the "Howey in the Hills" exit (HWY27) HWY 27 north to Leesberg. Turn right (south) on HWY441. HWY441 south to Eustis to HWY 19. Go north on HWY19 to Umatilla, Pizza hut is on the left (north side of the town) To get to Fridays ride spot from Pizza hut: Left out of Pizza Hut (north) on HWY 19. Enter the Ocala Forest (10 miles??) go approx 10 more miles to State Road 445 (look for the sign to Alexander Springs State Park). Turn right on State road 445, go 2 to 3 mile to the power lines.
