Currently I am close to a place called Standard Wash its about 3-4 miles South of Lake Havasu City, plenty of trails to ride one guy I talked to said you can ride north all the way to RT40 if you wanted too.

Trails are nice but they get rough and rocky in areas, the closer you get to town and the more popular the trails the more whoops its has.

This would be a great place to have a POOA Pilot Odyssey desert race/jambo. FREE camping and riding, all primitive is the down side...

File comment: Like any other ride area find any power lines and follow th trail that runs with it smaller trails branch off, every wash also has trails.

That's pretty harsh looking country.

Nothing wrong with a bit of primitive camping. :-)

I might have to pack up the ody & move countries with the variety of riding areas you guys have. :-)

Naaaahhhhh. I like it here.

Hey Hoser, that is the way I came home after our trip a few years ago. Stopped and saw friends in Parker dam area, then up thru there. Looked like endless miles or trails that should be great for a four wheeler or the RZR. I'll bet you are happy to be buying fuel in Arizona, if it is anything like when we were there, could be a buck cheaper.

It just keeps getting better, I moved about another 2 miles South of where I had been camping and found a whole new set of trails to ride, this morning went on a 105 mile ride what a rush.

As I was unloading this morning in pulls 3 off road racing buggys and one off road racing truck must be nice to live so close to a off road area they just drive in from town, I got about 2 miles up the wash and found the tail light assembly from the off road racing truck it had fallen off, I picked it up and followed the dust cloud through the canyon about an hr later I caught up to them they were stopped, guy was happy to get his tail light back lol.

Too bad GNCC don't have a winter series here you could easily have a 100 mile race and never go over the same trail.

I didn't see any of those sand washes when I was there, mostly just trails going off the main hiway.

Wow, 105 mile ride, how did you manage on gas, stock tank make it or did you use your extra?

Your butt sore yet?

Wish I were there!

Me too, I once rode a place like that near Green River, Utah, story was that you could ride all the way to Moab on some of the trails.

I am sooooo heartbroke I got stuck running to the east... Loads got delayed and am tied up till after the first of next week then 2 races here in Texas on the 29th and the 5-6 of December... New tires are on the way for the toyhauler but can't get everything done while I am stuck under these damn loads...
I sure wish I would have planned better!!!

Get off the main hwy and ride back a few miles and you hit the real trails, the trails you see from the road actually suck they are very rough and whooped up.

I carried extra gas with me the RZR has 7 gallon tank and my guess is gets at least 10 mpg +

Butt is not sore yet the RZR has nice seats, it also has TWO seats so their is room for you :-)

Heading North first thing in the morning to seek out more riding areas I see a few back roads on google earth off RT40 that might contain trails, I would ride their to see if these connect (pretty sure they do) but that would be a 200 mile round trip ride lol, if I don't find anything off 40 I heard on the CA side of Parker their is a bunch of trails to ride.
