Hi ,my names Rob im up in Humboldt County ,CA and am getting ready to pull the trigger on this Pilot next week..

ive been reading the board quite a bit lately, and have always wanted to own a Pilot but have never had the Funds to make it happen.. im hopeing this pilot is a good one .

The owner said it has most everything ATV RACING can add that doesnt involve "headwork"..

it looks like it needs mirror on the right side, also the grills for the lights ,,by chance are these parts easy to find ?

Pipe silencer
V-Force reeds
race carb
Power Bloc clutch
Douglas Wheels
no rev limit CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition)
aluminum skid plates

he wanted $6k talked him down to $5K..what do you guys think ? i thought i would play it smart and ask opinions here first before making a commitment to buy. these are the pics he sent me i havent actually seen it yet (its ruffly 2 hours away)

Greetings and welcome Rob! :-)

Did the owner by chance tell you what the compression reading is?

Also...... I don't know if you have been following the forum for long but there are those Pilot owners who do not think very highly of ATV Racing. Be cautious about modifications made by them.

Without better pictures hard to tell the true condition. Engine compartment looks a bit dirty and looks like tires a fairly worn.

I would try to talk him down even more!

Rand

thanks Randman !

i just sent him a message asking about compression although i don't know if he has the ability to check it..he says it runs perfect..
come with an extra set of Paddles which is good as i really only want to run it on the dunes anyways.

Does it come with the stock rims?

Does he have any other parts ?

Looks like the suspension arms all have had a coating of that chrome in a can.
