Hello everyone! I just traded my 1986 trx250r for a 1985 honda odyssey fl350 last night and I have to say I absolutely love this thing! I didn't have this much fun on my 250r I had. It has a few mods I've noticed, triple eee exhaust, 38 mm carb, v force reeds, gravity fed tank ( should I be concerned with this) little bigger rear tire also. I have pics just haven't uploaded yet

Yes, you should be concerned with the gravity feed. You should be running a fuel pump. The gravity feed system may not be able to feed enough fuel to the Engine at a full throttle run and it hay burn a hole through the top of the piston.

Welcome to the forum. What part of LA are you from? You ever been to the LA dunes? I was just looking them up and I see now they are closed, that sucks, looks like it would have been a great place to ride.

Im from 30 minutes east of baton rouge a little town called French Settlement. Ive never been to the LA dunes but ive heard they were great for riding. We go riding at a local spillway about an hour from here which isnt bad at all to drive to. Its fun, lots of sand and plenty of trails. I still think you can ride in the national forest that's close to LA dunes. Id have to look up the name again but its 70+ miles of trails that are friendly to buggys

HI, I am north of you in Mississippi mile marker 40 on I55. What spillway do you ride and what is required to ride there? There are a couple 350's up this way always looking for a new place to ride.

Welcome to the site, follow your fuel line see if they routed the gas through a fuel pump sometimes when they switched to what appears to be gravity they actually ran it through the factory pump, that would be my preferred way also, gravity feed can be tricky on these that were setup for pressure feed carbs, if you get the correct fuel inlet valve in the carb designed for gravity running without the pump can be pulled off.

Pics of your ride?

Sorry guys haven't been able to get on here lately. All required at the spillway to ride is a helmet, or atleast that's all we understood we ever needed. I'll get some pics up soon of it I'd I didn't start another thread before on here. It most definitely is running to a fuel pump for the gravity tank. I'm loving it so far but my better 1/2's brother enjoys it more than I do lol
