Well actually, this is my 3rd Pilot so I do have some gray hair as my user name indicates and this current one I'm looking to upgrade it with a 583 Rave and was hoping to find some electrical info here plus how bad could a group of guys who roll in Pilots be? Okay, so I'm from NJ (don't hold it against me) and mostly trail ride but there is a large motocross track mixed in so I'd like to show the young ins how it's done and kick a little dirt.

Hi Geezer, I'm from Jersey too and I think only 2 or 3 others here are also.

So the first question is always where do you ride and is it legal?

Post some pics of your project when you gat a chance.

I do have some state property behind me but getting to it is an issue as I do have to cross some privately owned property and sometimes it's okay and sometimes not so it's not really legal where I ride. How about you, where do you ride?
Thanks

I don't have a pilot, just a couple old buggies, I ride on my property and a local, very small quarry that a friend of a friend owns. Don't ride in the pines anymore, don't know where to go without getting harassed. I cant take a chance getting repo-ed!

There are a couple guys on here from the toms river area that ride at couches and some other spots, but they are not on here much.

If I may I would HIGHLY recommend to you oldgeezer to register that PILOT in PA, it is easy, you do not need a title, and it is 20 bucks for 2 years, and due to reprosity that is a legal binding registration perfectly legal for the state of NJ, meaning you can't get busted for unregistered, etc here if you get caught. I insure my rides with Rider insurance it is like a couple hundred for the year for updated liability, but well worth it especially here in NJ were everybody is sue happy.
I can lead you down the path if needed to get that PILOT registered if you need.
Also were in NJ are you located? I have properties in Central, North and southern NJ.I as well don't ride much here in NJ anymore, mostly in PA and the anthracite coal properties.Got busted too many times, too many trips to the impound yards in Brick, Lacey Twps HEHEHEHE.
