Done lol I had the confidence to weld today so I finished up the project myself looks great grinded more after last pic capped the inner frame with washers welded in

Its coming along! You're already ahead of the one I started...like 2.5 yrs ago! haaa

Did you buy a header pipe from Farr? If you're going to DIY the pipe check my project log on my FL470. It wasn't too difficult to cut/patch/weld the pipe and the 2-to-1 flange to fit behind the stock seat. Just thinner steel, that's all. Granted I haven't even started that Engine since I put new piston & rings in it.

Nice to see someone show their actual welds in a photo. The more you weld the less grinding you'll have to do. Kudos, man! :-) Is that with gas or flux-core wire? I'm certainly no expert, but be sure to clean-up the joints before you weld with a grinding wheel or tiger-paw pad. Get rid of that mill scale, and wipe it down with acetone or non-chlorinated brake kleen. Contamination kills a weld, even MIG.
