Hey guys, I've been knocking around the idea to buy a spare Engine for my odyssey. My thoughts are to buy one and strip it down and do a complete build and then swap it into my frame. Question is, what is a complete Engine worth? There is one on Ebay for 750$ which sounds high to me. Any thoughts?

Depends on the condition of the bottom end. A turn key Engine for $750 sounds okay to me but again only if it's turnkey.

Why not just rebuild the one you have? Does your motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) need a rebuild?

Original Engine runs ok, think it needs some carb work. The spare Engine would get built while still being able to ride. That's what I'm doing with my 86 Honda 200x. Plus I'd like to build a water cooled setup. Thanks for the welcome, lots of cool info on here.
