Welcome new guy.
OH GOD there is so much to learn but I have to keep my novel short or it will be pages long.
1) That FL350 appears to be straight (not rolled). Hard to tell for sure based on the angle of those pics but it looks good.
2) No wrist restraints on the FL350 -- that's not good. In a roll over you'll break your arm.
3) Looks like stock fuel pump on the FL350 -- Ohhhhhhhhhh. You must do a flow test.
4) It's still air cooled -- Ohhhhhh. I strongly suggest AVGAS. You have been warned.
5) Original seat belts -- Ohhhhhhhh. If you value your life these must be replaced.
6) I see a puddle of oil or fuel under that FL350. What's that about ??
1) FL250 has no wrist restraints. Not good. These machines are very open with no side bars. Your arms MUST be kept inside.
2) Can't really see the seat belts but use same reason as above. But it does look like the nicer shape of the two units.
On both of these machines you will have to flow test the fuel pumps. If they don't put out the required amount of fuel you'll lean out the
Engine and -------- poofkaboom. Two strokes don't like to be leaned out.
On both of these machines you MUST pressure test these engines BEFORE you even start them again. Right now you have no idea what you got.
If you need manuals for these things we can direct you to a link for FREE pdf manual downloads.
I have to stop here or this thread is gona be long. Start a new thread in tech or general section for things you want to know.
