Wanted a Odyssey FL350 for a long time and finally found one close enough and for a reasonable cost though not near as low as some of you have scored them for.

Paid 2800 for a dusty dirty but running FL350 that has been upgraded with a mid 1990's Yamaha Vmax 600 snowmobile Engine. Did come with a spare Engine but of unknown condition.

It has Upgraded rear axles as the former owner builder said, stock axles "kept breaking".

My plans are to ride it a bit and then tear it apart in the fall/winter of 2021 and upgrade the front suspension to TRX450r - already scored a complete except for shocks TRX450r front suspension off ebay.

I am going to upgrade the rear suspension to long travel wider then stock also.

I do plan on riding it a bit when the weather gets warmer so as of now I do need a OEM style factory rear shock so if any one has one let me know. One rear shock good, one is locked up and will not compress or move.

I got a ton of tech ideas I'd like to throw out there to see what you experienced fabricator types think of them. I was going to build my own mini buggy from scratch but this Ody came up and I figured, one, I could probably not build one for what I paid for this one, though after mods?? who knows and if I do want to build one from scratch it will be great to have one already that works so I can be past the ideas and into the reality stage when I design the next one from scratch.

If you look close at the photos showing the rear axle, you can see some funky welding on the stubs where it wraps around the u-joint and the belt look a bit close to the stub axle also. Only way that seems to be working is the belt must tighten up and move up on the driven clutch and thus it must move just far enough away so it does not hit the axle stub.
