Nice SS Camaro What year LT1 is that?

Thanks, that is my other money pit. its a 97 SS. lt1 / 6 speed / 377 rwhp. Center mount exhaust and a mild build on the Engine.

Any 1/4 mile trips? Shouabadaba and I used to be in a F-Body car club years ago. I now own a '05 GTO 6.0 auto. 400hp and ft/lb I have seen guys run as good as a 12.8 in the 1/4 on street tires in stock trim. I have yet to 1/4 mile it. Mine is bone stock right down to the paper air filter with only 40k miles. I want to run it in stock trim to get some baseline readings before I decide if I want to do anything to it or not.

I took this photo on Glendora Mountain Ridge Road with my crappy cell phone

Nice GTO, they were awesome replacements for the f-bodies

I don't have any slips on the current build. I got the Engine is just as I moved and I am a bit farther from the strip. I had time to dyno tune and that was all. I hope this next summer I might get out there. I "sorta" own a race built 92 454 ss Truck. I say sort of as it was my uncles and he passed away. I am just waiting for the estate to be settled. Its a bit more of a beast, and I like to see what It will do.

** maybe we should start another thread to not high jack this one..*****

Hey all, I'm new to the this forum...actually any forum. Bought my first Odyssey FL350R last night. Until I read this post I thought I got a good deal but now, not so much. Seems the going rate around here is $2k which is what the guy I bought from wanted but I got him down to $1200 so I was pretty stoked.

Anyway, I joined the forum because I'm looking for real world advice on converting to a-arms up front with as much travel as possible all around. Have a collapsed disc in my back and doc says no more dirt bikes, pretty sure he won't approve of this either but what he doesn't know will only hurt me!

Any advice on building a-arms, shocks, new power plants I will happily take. Everything on the cheap, planning to build as much as possible myself. If you've built your own stuff and can offer time saving advice or tips please send them my way.

If you want to help your back the first thing you will want to do is install WORKS shocks in the rear, the stock rear shocks suck even when they were new, the stock front shocks are not so bad.

As Hoser said, Works shocks on the rear are the way to go.....and they give you 1 extra inch of travel!

Without the works, the ass end of the Ody will bounce like a pogo stick! Definitely something you don't want to do to your back!

Hello all , New to the forum I live in Salida Co moved up from Oklahoma ( Boomer Sooner ) . This is my 3rd Odyssey #1 1983 fl350 bought it brand new Westby's Honda Tulsa Oklahoma , sold it the solid frame on the rear was a killer, #2 bought in Florida while on a job, only missing the fenders. As of now its in storage in the process of repaint , rebuild, will have a snow machine Engine when done, #3 I just got I traded a AR15 for this machine. Could use tires, an air box mod, and seat recover but seems to run good . I'm thinking it was worth 1 AR

growing up on a farm in the middle of the prairies, we always had something to ride. started off on a honda 50 bike, at 6 years old..we also had a 3 wheeler, a 79 oddy fl250 and plenty of dirt bikes to ride. always loved the oddy and last year when the chance cam to buy a fl350 i jumped on it..had a couple problems with it last year but hopefully this year will be all about riding and not so much wrenching lol
