Hey all, I'm new to the this forum...actually any forum. Bought my first Odyssey FL350R last night. Until I read this post I thought I got a good deal but now, not so much. Seems the going rate around here is $2k which is what the guy I bought from wanted but I got him down to $1200 so I was pretty stoked.
Anyway, I joined the forum because I'm looking for real world advice on converting to a-arms up front with as much travel as possible all around. Have a collapsed disc in my back and doc says no more dirt bikes, pretty sure he won't approve of this either but what he doesn't know will only hurt me!
Any advice on building a-arms, shocks, new power plants I will happily take. Everything on the cheap, planning to build as much as possible myself. If you've built your own stuff and can offer time saving advice or tips please send them my way.
If you want to help your back the first thing you will want to do is install WORKS shocks in the rear, the stock rear shocks suck even when they were new, the stock front shocks are not so bad.
