Hey, been on here a little while made a couple of posts to get some info being so excited about actually finding a place where people actually know about these machines.

From Melbourne, Australia.

Recently bought a 350 from a mate's brother inlaw.

I've had a good look at it & need some parts for it. Looked at hondaservice & they don't deliver to Aust. Dunno why, it's still money paid upfront!!
:-)

Oh well, these things happen.

I wouldn't mind getting it back to original looking, but, it could cost me too much, so, I'll see where I end up. Got no pics yet. I'll take some when I collect it.

Read a lot of good info in here too & a lot more to go.

cheers Damon.

A few things I will be changing & replacing; tank (custom aluminium getting made), adding side/nerf bars (removable), removing those white bits off the back, changing airfilter, adding head & tail lights (might go LED fronts if available & already have LED rear), need to repair the choke as it's not remote at the moment, those straps below the steering are going, new set of wheels & tires (where do I get those nice shiny silver one's?), new exhaust, full set of guards, new handbrake cable & bracket (near the transmission) plus a few other things along with some paint in places.

Here's some pics of the area I'll be running it in.

Here's a pic of the one my other brother acquired. It needs a fair bit of work.

Nice score congratulations!

That air filter has to go, you might see if you can get a stock air box? I assume you will be riding before you change out the filter system if so you should come up with a oiled foam pre filter to help stop the fine dust and sand, the current filter alone will not.

Look at the cooling fins on the head of your Engine they are straight, that is a pre recall head, look on the back of your frame where the serial number is, is their a letter "X" stamped on the frame at the end of the serial or any place close?

After the 350's were recalled and updated the dealers was suppose to stamp the frame with a "X"

Cheers guy's, I'm quite happy with it. At the moment!

Both of these machines were used as speedway cars in a different class to the usual big winged things, hence the Hoosier speedway tires.

Yeah, I was either going to make an airbox (larger than stock) as I heard people trying to make them bigger to allow a larger available amount of air to draw on. I want a snorkel due to the riding area getting very dusty like talcum powder thanks to the log trucks.
Buying one from the US is a very costly exercise as shipping is absolutely ridiculous!

Unfortunately the fins are the straight ones, & my reasons with asking about watercooled heads. I'd prefer to spend the money on a watercooled head instead of the newer bent fin head from Honda.

Not sure whether you realised that the last Odyssey pictured is not mine, my brother bought it from the same guy. Now we can race. :-)
