I was planning on getting married so a lot of the toys were going to go as long as i got to replace them with an Odyssey.I was in no big hurry & finally came across one in a local paper.Went to look at it & give it a test ride. Was a little rough but no big deal.I was not familiar enough with them but seemed to run good, had a liquid head,38mm Mikuni,Klemm pipe & airbox topallof which I learned later(from reading here). It did need brake work. So I bought it.left a deposit & picked it up next day in a Toyota mini truck.Didn't fit to well. With the back tires hanging off the tailgate & me looking into the sky on the way home with allthat weight hang as far back as it could I happily headed home.Got home & unloaded it,statrted up to let it warm up while I moved the truck.Came back to it & it had stalled.I didn't think any thing of it,I figured it just fouled a plug or just stalled.A week or so later diagnosing came up with very low compression(it did not feel low with the pull starter, another lesson learned).Pulled the jug needed new piston, bored etc.I ended up rebuilding bottom end too. I took the crank to a local Honda dealer/stealer for a rebuild. After be screwed around for a couple of weeks of it will be ready tomorrow I picked it up & took it to a individual shop & got great service had it back in a couple of days just as promised.Having never rebuilt a 2 stroke before it took a while but ran great when I finally got it back together. It is definatelly still a kind of rough but I still work on it when I can.

Thanks
Shubey
