hello all I just picked up an odyssey fl250 1984 for $500 buck's I took it out yesterday after putting new gas in the tank cause he said it has been sitting for about a year and I rode for about 5 1/2 hours and man is this thing fun, its all original very little wear just some cosmetic damage from it sitting for so long, weather cracked tires, faded plastic rust here and there and the belt is missing a few teeth, never been rolled and it was sitting in a carport for most of its life, I have it currently stripped to the fram cause im resanding it buy hand and gonna throw it on the flatbed and take it to get powdercoated black agin, along with the skids and tank and cage ( gonna be red agin) it had an exaust leak cause the 4 bolts rattled out and the gasket was gone and the manifold piece was just rattling around between the Engine/exaust, so the Engine is very very dirty, after pulling it spraying it with Engine degreaser and letting it sit for 15 mins like it recommends I pressure washed it off and its still all not comeing off think ima get fine grain steel whool and start it by hand, well good luck and I will post pic's in the morning!!!! I am overhauling this thing in the back yard think ima go get some more sanding done!! good luck!!
