So I finally got my first odyssey. I have wanted one of these since I was a kid. Just went through a mid-life (34) crissis and decided to go shopping. I was first looking a a 350 but it was sold the day before I was going to take the 3 hour trip to buy it. The next day I drove 4 hours to get this FL250.

This thing is LIKE NEW. Bone stock but it has been babied! The best part is I got it for $1050. I will post more pics soon but the only issues I have found after going over it is the back rest of the seat needs to be reapolstered. OH before someone mentions it the rear tires are 2 inches smaller than the front! So tires are on the list too!

WOO HOO! My mid-life crisis started when I was about 12 and bought my first ATV a ATC90 :-) then when I bought my 1974 Indian MX76 motorcycle, then my ATC110 then the ATC250R then a few FL250's, then a few Pilots a 400EX then a TRX250R then a Polaris RZR-S its like one long crisis hehe hopefully it will not end soon :-)

Looks nice how about some more pics of the Engine area?

You don't see many 250's left in that condition.

Stick around here hopefully we will have you into a Pilot soon!
Have you seen this one http://www.pilotodyssey.com/PO/view ... highlight=

I will post up more pics once the repair is done and I find my camera.

I already have a list of parts I need like an extra set of rears for paddles and I want to get a red LED whip for night riding in the dunes!

That pilot is unbelievable! I wish I had the cash but it was a struggle to scrap together the cash for this one!

I will definately be sticking around. I belong to several other forums because the best info is obtained by other owners!

hi - cherry looking fl250. the following is my opinion and mine only and i own 2 fl250 - one modified and one stock except for a DG pipe.

Ride and enjoy your fl250 for what it is and what it was entended for - if you want suspension look for a 350 or pilot - you can put a lot of money in to one of these and still just have an Odyssey Fl250. they are great machines and more fun than you can shake a stick at. i was told this same thing when i started modifying my first one. Have fun and do what ever you want but you might want to keep this in mind.
