i bought a 350 a few months ago..wanted one for years...had and old 250 as a kid..so far this thing has beat me up...bought it witha fresh rebuild..but after 1/2 hour of riding it came to a sudden stop - someone forgot to tighten the base gasket properly. so i ended up doing a new piston and bore it out to 81.5...seemed to run good but then it started to over heat on wide open throttle..pull the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) out to do a pressure test..won't hold any pressure..piece of gasket missing between the case itself where it splits. so i patched it up so that i could try another pressure test and i think the seals are gone..still won't hold pressure , haven't fixed this yet as it was only yesterday that i tore it apart..but when i do it should be like a new Engine..they way it was suppose to be when i bought it..anyway heres some pics of it

IF the crank case is lekaing where they join together (got pics?) then the Engine needs to come out and apart, chances are it needs seals too.

Know the history of this Engine, recent rebuild on the bottom end?

When you rebuilt the top end did you relieve the exhaust bridge and drill the lube holes in the piston?

have Engine out on my bench right now...the bridge was relieved and i drilled 3 oil holes ..i was told when i bough the ody that the Engine had new bearing seals and a fresh top end..i know the top end was fresh you could tell when i took it out lol..don't have a pic of the tiny gap between the case cause i tried seal it up with gasket maker so that i could do another pressure test to see if the seals were gone
