just wanted to introduce myself to everyone on here. my names marcus, i'm a Brit but i live out here in Qatar working for various oil companies. i've spent most of the day going back through old posts on every section of this forum and there is a massive wealth of knowledge here (which i will try to absorb every drop of).
before i moved to Qatar i used to race minimoto's (49cc 2strokes) but that's about as much as ive done. the Odyssey wasn't actually sold over here so contacting my local honda dealer for parts etc. is just met with a confused stare (however, that could just be the language barrier) so i'll be looking at having most parts shipped over from the states...which is where i will need alot of help from anyone who is willing to give it as im not exactly up to date with the manufacturers of any after-market or mod parts (and each part will take around 4 weeks to arrive here, you can imagine the pain it will be shipping it back for a replcement!).
apart from that i will get pics of my new project up soon...but by the looks of it its a lot worse off than most on here started (long dry summers of +50oC heat and high humidity doesnt fare to well on metal or plastic parts). but hey i own it now and i will be looking to eventually hit the dunes!
