Getting another Pilot after a 6 year absence, been soaking up this site since I knew I was going to get back into the game. Looking forward to meeting up and doing some rides. Thanks for all the great info.

Thanks, I'm in Lafayette, and yes that is the pilot. Being shipped from Oregon, should be here on the 29th.

Looks like 89 model with the fabric net next to the seat instead of plastic. Previous owner prolly bought an 89 in 1990?.

Thank You Sir, appreciate the welcome notes. Yes it is an 89 as everyone observed and turned out to be as nice as the pics. Also I can recommend Haulbikes.com as the transport Co, everything went pretty smooth and they were easy to work with.

Where you planning on going?

I wanted to go to Rock Springs in WY this summer probably around June but if gas is 3 bux a gallon I will be spending my time closer to home, maybe just doing laps in the back yard lol

I don't have any immediate plans, last year I went solo. Would like to get together if anyone plans anything and am up for travel if need be. Silver Lake? WY, really want to do what you did Hoser and go west, but I know summer is not dune season so will probably look to do that late fall. Road trip anyone?

Well Dave if you ever get close to Northern Nevada again you've got a riding partner!

That also goes out to anyone else who comes out my way. You can ride for days out here!

Rand

If its affordable I will be doing summer of the sixes ride this year, all depends on the price of gas and work, need to figure out a business venture that will pay for my travel expenses and some tax deductions lol

It was just a group ride we started at Killpecker dunes in Rock Springs WY for about a week then went to Saint Anyothys dunes in near Parker ID its timed out on or around 6-6-06 so Drakaman named it summer of the 6's it was a great trip. I wish it was a annual event but its hard for everybody to make and everybody to get off work.

I'd be in for this, just set a date, I have plenty of vaca time and I'm flexible. Thanks Eric
