Hello to everyone,
I'm Italian and yesterday I've bought my first Honda, It's a Pilot aka FL400R in Italy.
I'll share it with my father that have lost the use of legs and now can't use his motorcycle....I think it will be funny to go through the country, unfortunately we haven't desert :-)

The Pilot are quite rare in italy,
This is mine:

It is stock and bored once, has a crack on the left side panel and rear fender that maybe I'll replace with new one (if I'll find)

Thanks,
Francesco.

Ps
I apologize for my poor English.

Welcome to the site! Your pilot looks very nice. What is the riding terrain like in Italy?

Around my village tipically there is loam, but I can easily reach a creek that has a flat riverbed composed by a mixture of sand and gravel

It is an Italian 1990 Pilot, not imported, I think there are about 2 hundreds in Italy

Front bumper and skid plate aren't original, and also back tires and the keys.
I haven't opened the Engine but I think it is standard or bored once.

That is very interesting, I know manufactures often release slightly different versions of their products.

Anyone know what differences there were?
