yes 2 stock axles to make 1 long axle

So let me get this straight: it takes 4 stock axles to make a pair of LT axles, and you're still limited to the angular travel of the stock u-joint? Not sure if I love that idea and its limitations, but it is what it is. I'm anxious to see some GoPro of this setup in action.

**(Edit: when I typed this post I was thinking it was an FL350. But, I was 100% wrong. Its a Pilot and Pilot axles.)**

pilot has CV joints. not u-joints

running the pilot CV joints at 30 degrees is in no way a limiting thing, the pilot cv joints hold up and have no trouble running more angle than 930 cv joints run, how you call that limitations baffles me. The pilot cv joints are excellent, mine turn free at 34 degrees, a 930 will burn the grease out and fail at 30 degrees axle angle and we push the limit with special cages and balls to 28 degrees on my race cars.. the pilot cv joints allow 17 full inches of true wheel movement, where is the limitation in that?

No sweat, I tried to explane all as best I could, the best rear end mod for a fl 350 is adding a 10 inch travel fox 2.0 shock. easy to tune the rear to handle 5 times better than they handle now.

10" travel shock for approx. 4" of shock stroke?

It is what you do with that shock stroke that changes the ride considerable. Valving the shock to the travel is something works or any other can not come close t0
