You'll pay more for shipping than the part. They're less than 10 bucks a piece.

There is no need to run the hose all the way up to the air box.

Open Vent V/S Bellows:

Open Vent, no bellows:

You can run a vent system without the bellows however there are some issues in doing so.
If you run too small of a vent hose, the oil will travel up the hose and out the un-vented end. Turbo Texas had oil that traveled up his vent hose probably a good 2 feet! What I have found with my testing is that the hose ID has to be large enough to allow the air to escape up the hose without pushing the oil along with it. I have seen people use a large filter in place just above the vent in the case. The large diameter filter will allow air to pass through the oil that is pushed into the filter. The end of the hose will still have to be protected from debris being drawn back into the tube and beware that some of your ballancer oil is stuck in your oil filter which isn't lubricating anything.

Closed Vent, Bellows:

The bellows system works extremely well by not allowing air to flow quickly up the vent tube and it is not effected by the size of the vent tube used. This keeps the oil in the ballancer where it belongs. As I mentioned before, I have experienced blow by by using a bellow that does not expand properly.

Shit!

There is more than likely numerous atv differentials that use that bellow. I just happened to discover this one by looking at the neighbor's Can Am Outlander.

Here is one that looks like it might do just fine from a golf cart differential. 10 bucks and free shipping.

You'll just have to do some searching.

Already tried to fill it
It cut deep into 3 flutes

Can you give us a close up pick of the cut? How many rows of tubes? Usually they have 2 rows, you can carefully dig the fins (aluminum) out around the cut tube with needle nose pliers and a pick, then cut all the way across the tube in between the slice, fold each end of the tube back over on itself and pinch each end off, it will just cancel that tube out, quick fix to get you by in a pinch.

I'm am aware of that but I don't want to half ass it to where it could screw me in the future

I would rather do it right the first time

Just good tricks if your out ridding and hit something so your not stuck or parked on the trailer the rest of the weekend.

http://www.stockcarracing.com/techartic ... ewall.html

Search words, radiator, leak, core, repair, quick fix, hole, cut, antifreeze, how not to use a cut off wheel :-)

have you looked at putting some insulation over that figure 8 wire where it could rub on the metal?
