No, I was lucky enough to get a true barn find. The original tires were still in perfect condition and the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) runs great. I bought it off the original owner and it has been sitting since 92.(Photo is the day I picked it up) I replaced all the Engine seals though and every gasket except for the center cases. I had every colored steel piece powder coated the original color and every piece of plated /chrome steel is at the platers. I also have the tank, forks and side cover being repainted. I even had the side covers coated so they match the wheels. I purchased all new cables, all new decals and all new rubber. Also bought new tires, tubes, and a chain. So far it's coming together really nice. Not looking forward to putting on the new tank decals. Basically every part that I can replace that needs replacing will be restored or replaced. I am trying desperately not to use anything but Honda OEM parts. The only part I have not been able to find yet is the cover for the original air cleaner. When I am all done, I will probably put a 88cc kit with a manual clutch on it just for giggles but I will keep the original stuff. I used to have a CT70 and wish I never sold it.
