Nice new toy!!

Noticing a little bit of positive camber on the front wheels. Any way to move the upper mounts in a tad, or, can you space the lower ball joint out a schmidge? What do the wheels look like at full bump & full droop?

Well on to getting the right radatior

Most people said to get a Honda civic radatior
Is it worth it to get on with a shroud?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-00-HONDA-CIV ... 0740819278" ."..

Or will this work?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Alloy- ... 1279827890" ."..

Just trying to get one that's on the smaller side for room for every thing else

Anyone think one from an fl400 will work? Thinking no but I got an spare that I'm not using at the moment

Might lean more towards this at the moment as the fittings will be a closer match to the Rotax

I've got a civic radiator and its just effing HUGE. So I opted for another yfz450 radiator. We'll see how well it cools. It dos miracles for the stock 350 single hitter though.

Here is the civic radiator with shroud in the chassis....this was earlier in the build. If there weren't so many peripherals that needed a home (oil bottle, airbox, fuel tank, rad bottle), I'd prob use it. But it just takes up too much space. Might be able to install it parallel with the downtubes...not sure. Prob cools like a mo-fo tho! I'm a stickler about keeping stuff within the confines of the cage.

I wonder how the 350 axles will hold up with all this power. This is alot of Engine for a 350.

Same here
Wish I had an 470 like D$*'s

I believe it's 84 HP with the dual carbs
Should be less with the single intake

Got some spares if it happens to break them

just slowly pecking away at this project as after work i'm beat ,plus it doesn't help that's the buggies at my work not my house not having an garage sucks.

got the new seals and gaskets installed in the Engine today

well after thinking for a while I'm going to drop in the pilot radiator in this rig if it bytes me in the A$$ then that's my fault

cut apart an belt and found out the belt should be 39'' long

found out the 2 belts i'm going to decide to order (thanks D$* )

39.6", UniMatch 1926V390 probably going to get this one if it don't work ill go with the other one
38.3", UniMatch 1930V375

got the starter mounted to the Engine and happy with it

just bolting up the Engine plate, brake caliper, and trans

hopefully tomorrow i can get more done to this

Hey B S
I need to get a move on your way ahead of me!!
I got my carb/intake/flame arester in the mail Thursday.
Cleaned it up and it looks great, 38mm super bn, intake off of a 580.
No corrosion or broken bolts.
I was wondering, do you think we could use the oil injection
Fittings on the intake as a dial a jet set up? Seems like it would work?
I'm probably over thinking, this carb already had high and low
Needles for "on the fly adjustments"..
Joe.

You will probally finish before me been on this for a while now. All I know is D$* better hurry up :-)

I'm removing the injection as I don't trust them as I have replaced many top ends from them failing (not on personal rigs but projects I acquire)

Don't think the dial a jet will work on the injection ports as they lube the rotary valve

Haaaa, if this is a race, I will concede right now. LOL I've got a Zilla in a "zilla-ion" pieces right now for a rebuild, picking up 4 pallets of patio pavers this week, and this coming weekend is my only free weekend until the last weekend in July! Summer is here and spare time is sparse! That's why I'm lovin' your FL537 project. =)

You don't want to mess with a trx radiator. I have one at the house. Was not going to be any good way to use it. The YFZ setup is very nice. Only improvement I could see would be to relocate the hose barbs on the radiator to line up better. Wouldn't be hard if you can weld aluminum. I have zero fab skills and my setup turned out pretty good. A guy with skill could steal my idea and really do something with it.
