Take that pump / filter assembly apart. If it was a salt-water hog it might be a mess.

By the way, your Estes account # and password are showing in your pic. lol Not sure anyone can do anything with it, but you never know what trolls are lurking.

that's good time to jet

92 seadoo jetting

mine is a little off

MAIN JET 125
MAIN JET 107,5
PILOT JET 67,5
PILOT JET 62,5

and after looking up more info about the 537 found out has anywhere between 85-94 hp stock
they really played around with this Engine

so it looks like ill be picking up a pair of dual 38's for the future for more HP :-)

I have the exact set up you do now B S..38mm single super BN.

think the dual 38's might be a bit much on a 470

38mm carbs came on my 440 from the factory on the higher HP rated engines, personally I don't think they are needed for riding I have too much wheel spin with the power I make with a single lol

Now if I was going racing I would be testing twin carbs starting with the 44mm carbs but I would also be turning my Engine at close to 10k rpm too :-)

These ROTAX rotary valve engines are capable of a lot of RPM and power, whats really cool is you can swap the disc valve and tune your Engine for lower rpm and torque for riding, then if you want to go racing on the weekend remove 4 bolts required to remove the disc valve cover change the disc valve for one that changes your port timing for high RPM and HP then reinstall the dual carbs and the 4 bolts, its that easy, well you would have to adjust the clutching to take advantage of that extra RPM tune lol

The pipe I run is a later model factory pipe that made over 95 HP on a dyno it was used to get a baseline for a Engine that a guy was developing I have tested it from 7400 RPM to 9000 RPM and with the torque disc valve in place I see no loss of torque at the lower RPMs so for me a pipe change would not be required, my Pilot is scary fast with the other disc valve and at 9000+ RPM the Pilot simply does not have enough brakes lol you build speed way to fast for trails with that setup.

ow ya there crap

the guy things he caan rebuild them

he says send them back and hell refund me but im not too happy since ill be loosing $13 shipping it back

heres what i sent him:

Well I got the package today it came damaged the fuel pump nipple was snapped off and the linkage was broken
decided to open the carbs up and they are trash had salt water in them.

his reply:
I didn't open them up and look inside. It was a pair a customer dropped off and never picked up because he got rid of the ski. If you look in picture the linkage is broken. as for the fuel pump nipple I didnt see it broken. If you would like a refund i will gladly give you one upon return of the carbs. I can soak them in carb cleaner and soda blast to make look new. They are a rebuildable set. Let me know what you want to do.

sent him another message and well se what he says.
