Was personally thinking gas
Was planning to cap it off fill with gas slosh it around and drain into a coffie filter to see if there was any thing in it

Well had a little time so I just cleaned the throttle body
And got the gas tank flushed out
It's stained a bit

Filled it 1/2 ways with gas and put some BB's in it and let it sit and shake it every couple of days been sitting for 2 weeks so I finally decided to clean it out and finally got it clean took 4 rinses till nothing came out

Next thing is the frame anther day

Just ordered my battery
Just looked at the air filters and it turns out I need one
Other than that I need a chain, fuel lines, crush washers ,and some cv clamps

Thought I was done with the tank
But forgot about the quick connect gutting
So did thst after work
Diddnt take that long
Was a pain to drill them so put them in the vise and popped them apart the one got chewed up a bit but is fine other than that

Installed new fuel line inside the tank and cleaned the filter

Tank is finally done :-)

Really thinking about torching this cannondale(might give me some entertainment) :-) :-) :-)

Well im officially pissed at this cannondale at the moment
Originally thought it was the injectors (why couldn't it be the injectors) and its not

Wouldn't start and run properly found out why

theres a problem with the ECM or wiring (really thing its the ECM)
The right injector lead is on full blast all the time and not working properly.
The left lead works fine.
Swapped the injectors and there not the problem (was hoping they were).
So now i got to figure out whats wrong.

all i can hope is its something really stupid that's causing the problem and not something that's going to break me.

here is the video
the right side
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuC4ETDmKXA

the same injector on the left wiring

Have you spent time on the other site and asked questions? double check the injector plugs, I think they interchange with the coolant temp and possibly the CPS though I would not think they would be able to open the injector?
have you calibrated the throttle body yet? you need the software and a cable to do that stuff, I am not much help because I've been out of it for a while.
I have a spare ECM it is the late 1000 series, not sure what you have, it is from a quad but I think the main difference is it has a relay to kick the fan on while the bike doesn't, if you want to try it just pay shipping round trip or if it works you can buy it.
Another thing you want to check, the flywheel, another problem with the 'dale is that the aluminum part of the flywheel can shift on the steel hub, the keyway should line up with the "C"

I have a quad harness and ECU, I believe the only difference is the quad has a circuit for the radiator cooling fan, I may also have injectors.
Remind me the first weekend after new years, I think I'll be back then and I can see if I can round them up. I can round them up send to you, if you can make it work, make me an offer, probably around 1/2 of new or boomers price.

HeHehehe, that is why I salvaged the frame and put the CR500 powerplant in my quad!
Honda already makes a good aluminum frame bike.
