Well picked up this cannondale motorcycle last week and just tore into it the other day found out the crank is bad why a big surprise...not!
Paid $300 for it and it was delivered to me :-) clean title reg is out 3 years
Parts list so far

Crank will be getting the upgraded one form black widdow unless this one can be rebuilt not sure
Piston kit and cylinder
Starter one way bearing
Complete gasket kit going to get all of them
Fork seals
Fuel injection seals
Seat cover
Battery
Radatior cover if there available

Thinking the oil pump seals took a crap most of the oil was in the trans

think the o rings that go to the head went out and pumped all the oil into the trans

Will work on this once the spree is sold so I have funds to buy the parts

At least the head cover already has been replaced with the aluminum one
thinking of getting the aluminum water impeller also

are you on the cannondaleriders.com forum? there are many updates for the cannondale, I got tired of dealing with little issues that cost time and money, sticking to 2 strokes :-)

You have probably got 3 times the moving parts before you get past the timing chain cover
That Cannondale Engine will turn 12,000 rpm, any of the moving parts fail and you get to start all over.

Good people over there, as with this site, everyone's willing to help. You can get most of the new parts from Cannoboomer (Dave) or Black Widow.

I have some parts, I'll see what I can do for a list. the last failure I had was a broken wrist pin, took out the small end bushing on the rod, not sure if it did any other damage to the rod, gave it to one of the guys to send to Timbo to see how bad it is.
that was a 495 stroker motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), it made some good power but too costly to keep it together.

well the most costly part i need is an crank

full Engine seal kit
seat cover
fork seals
one way starter bearing
fuel orings
spark plug
oils
battery
radatior rock guard cover
might get new tires and a chain also?
and lots of time :-)
im going to go threw the complete Engine and trans so i know the next owner will be asurred that's it an solid bike.

if the bike was street legal it would be a keeper
me and two wheels off road is not a good combination

my plan is to fix sell then save my money to get a different bike

been thinking about getting a vstrom 650 ABS or any other adventure bike like it
my DRZ 400 is good at 55 but 70 it's too shaky

Funny, I wanted a cannondale moto for the longest time

I'm not a first hand owner, but everything I have heard about them is that they can run great, but suffer alot of down time for mechanical issues

I'd still jump on a cannondale quad, becuase I'm a glutten and love projects, but holy crap that's a complicated looking motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) assembly

Have you posted anything yet? not sure if it ,s this site but some require 10 or so posts before you can PM or something like that.
What is your user name there, I'll send a PM to see about getting them in action.
