 Post subject: 1970 Honda PC50

Have had this project for a while(almost a year)and been collecting parts to make the Engine run.
Was left outside with the spark plug out and no carb so water got in the cylinder and locked it up

Luckily I found a good running Engine on eBay last week for $155 shipped
So it resparked me wanting to work on it.


Ordered new rings,top end gasket set,points and other parts that aren't going to be used for a while

Ordered a used carb from England for $55 about 6 months ago.


Lots to do as it's in bad shape plastics are crap
Gas tank has light surface rust So happy about that.

Tires are bad and got cut off

Some one cut a big hole in the frame idkwtf for???

And the cables are crap also

Front 2.00-19(23x2.00)
Back 2.25-19(23x2.25)
There some oddball sizes

You doing a full resto on this or going to mod it, isnt this the same as a Z50 Engine you can bore it right out to a 70cc ?

started loking for tires and there a pain in da ass to find
nitro had a good idea if i cant find any tires see if i can respoke it with bicycle rims nut that will be the last route

You don't need big valves on a low RPM Engine.

I havent seen one of these scooters in years a buddy use to have a yellow one years ago.

Well got the broke bolt in the exhaust removed was super easy
