well I'm starting to gather parts for a 12 valve cummins swap into a 1/2 ton truck going to go with the sleeper vibe, ultra quiet ultra power , looks like a Piece of junk barn find

Planning on making a pulling/drag truck.

Engine is a 1996 cummins 5.9 240K miles

got the Engine, radiator, intercooler and part of the wiring harness and a blown up transmission
also have the flex plate and TQ converter
trans is a 47RE that came from a 2001 4x4 truck
first and second gear are out and the input shaft is bad

i might try and rebuild this transmission if i can
if i don't need special tools

i need to find a new transmission either a 47re or 48re ,a PCM ,wiring harness,
and a transfer case

shooing for around 400-500 HP once done

Truck will be a presmog 4x4 gas truck

Shooting for either a 74-75 k10 Chevy or a 70-75 dodge 1/2 ton maybe a ford f100 if I find one
Also been looking at a 1966 IH 1100 4X4

Been really leaning on the IH 1100 clean title non opp for a grand

Sorry man no luck just looked all around and it must have been sold. I'll let you know if any more dodges come in. Does it have to be a 4x4 transmission? I know some people run a divorced transfer case. Depending on room.

Would rather have a 4x4 trans but unless I can't find one then I would go 2wd
