Post subject:  Crankcase seal Double spring

I rebuilt my Engine a few months ago and installed a new double lip/spring and o-ring, but it wasn't that long and it was leaking. I checked it and it wasn't seating correctly on the steel bushing (for a better word) so I fixed that and reinstalled it. It passed a leak down test just like before so I ran it. Well I am having the same problem again, it past a leak down test again but I have contaminant's in my crank case. I started looking for a alternate place for one and this is what I came up with. http://seals.mspseals.com/item/all-cate ... nformation Has anyone dealt with this place before? If so let me know good or bad please. Thanks Billy

Looks legit. Give them a call or email.
If they have the seal great, then we have another supplier in our neck of the woods. If not then you got to get the seal from England.

Ask them about the 8mm size (stock) instead of the 11mm.
England only had the 11mm.
Even though it's 3mm bigger than stock seal I have had no issues yet.

Ok I finally got the word on the seal. They will make the seals but it will take about 100 min. order for tooling up. He guaranties them to meet oem specs. He also wants me to send him one so he can have the original numbers to look up specs. It will be a exact match, but I don't have a seal to send him. so If anyone has one that the info can be read from I will send it to him and then we can get the cost. If anyone else is interested shoot me a message and I will give you my address. CO you probably have a few of them. LOL Thanks Billy

A group buy has come up before here but I don't think we need a hundred of them as the uk seals work just fine

Looks like they are like all the rest of the business, they don't want to stock nothing and then charge the shit out of you to make up a bunch that you have to sell to get your money back.

Yea I think so. I understand that they are in the business of making money and I have no idea what time, man hrs. it takes to do the process. With that being said I'm okay with it. May as well be,I can't make them....LOL I am about to start a new thread about the seal that I have been pondering on and I think I have came up with a idea. Thanks Billy
