Post subject:  Alternate Choke Cable
Heres a universal choke cable i installed on my FL350 you can find em from $8 to $11. the length is plenty long enough to cut down to desired size. the innerwire is a little big at .06 its a tight fit through the choke valve. you will also need to get either a solder on cable stop or a screw on kind. (Check picture below) After install the choke cable has a little wiggle room inside the factory hole, tightening up the nut will take out any of the extra play the cable has.

You need a barrel style cable stop, the screw on kind or the solder on ones. Will try and find out the barrel dimentions but it will be different depending what carb you have and the choke plunger.

how does it fit onto the choke plunger

What type of carby is it the stock PE32

Barrel stop you would slide in from the side no?
I havent picked up a stop yet so mine is held in right now solely based on the tight fit of the .06 wire which is enough to opperate the choke but I wouldn't run it this way.
Ic that normally its a small vertical nipple instead of the barrel. I've seen clamp on ones or solder of these to if a barrel doesn't work.

Negative, was just a pic I found online of a plunger with cable stop. mine doesn't have that tip on the end
