Post subject:  slippers in driven clutch on FL350

Hi Guys first time posting .
I'm trying to source out new slippers for my driven clutch on my FL350.
The parts manual shows rights and lefts each with different part #'s.
I lost one of the left ones some time ago and just noticed it missing.
The left ones appear bigger then the right ones at least on my driven clutch.
I'm the original owner of this thing and it has never been worked on.
I decided to order 3 new rights # S58-0008 and 3 new Lefts S58-0007
And change them all out at the same time.
I ordered my parts from Partzilla.
After inspecting my new slippers they are all the same size.
What I mean is that all 6 slippers look identical in shape and size.
The 2 remaining original Left slippers are noticeably larger then the original Right slippers.
Did Honda make a change over the last 30 years and decide to just use the same size slippers on the right as the left.
Anyone run across this before.
Any help truly appreciated.
I tried doing a brief search before I posted this.
I'm sorry if this has already been ddiscussed.
Thanks for your time
George

I just found some related topics . Apparently my search foo is weak.

Welcome new guy.
We have a good group here as the mutts have been run off.
Yes I have found the same thing you have. They're the same size but different part numbers.
I installed the one that was missing on mine and it flew out. So I just leave it out as it is for reverse only so I didn't bother. My local Honda dealer said they not available anymore so I bought the last 8.
With regards to searching - I have found that if you put one word only in the search box at a time it works best. Then in the search these threads box enter another one word. Works well for me.

Hey
Thanks for the reply. I guess that makes sense .
Maybe they just use all the same size for forward and reverse now.
I just thought it was odd to have 2 different part #'s and stick the same part in each bag.

I'll give it a shot.
Thanks again.

Oddatv.com sells slippers. I just picked up a set. All 6 are the same size in this kit.
