DO NOT BUY U joints with the grease zerks! Spread the word people EVERY TIME you see them for sale please come here and post the details and info we need to make it common knowledge through out the Pilot Odyssey world NOT TO BUY these U joints so even newbies know better.

Once the word is out then vendors who don't own or use these U joints will STOP selling something that will fix the axle and BREAK easily.

If it was me I would send pics to the vendor who sold these and explain in detail nicely what you were doing when they broke so they know their is a problem maybe they will seek out the right joints to sell, Mudbogger says you need the SPICER brand joints without grease jerks.

Neighbor kid and close friend of my son airing up the tire on his second tracker using the A/C compressor he converted into a air compressor.

His Tracker 1 is in his shop waiting for him to fix a pinion bearing Tracker 1 is really tricked out he has about 10k into the truck it will go about any place you point it with ease.

They went into the woods to rescue someone and my son ended up needing rescued himself a weak alternator left him with a battery too weak to restart his truck so Cory gave him a jump.

Yeah the ujoints thing sucks. When I bought it the owner told me it brand new U-joints. At the time I thought that was a good thing. Worked out just as well as the "just needs carb work". Ah well. I'm sure glad this is happening before I put works shocks on it. Thanks Hoser/Mud for the info on the spicer u joints. That's what I'll look for those for replacements.

Randy J. and friend (forgot his name already lol) Fatcat in the middle going out on the "last ride"

Was a great day minimum carnage, early in the day I hooked a rut and bounced into a tree with the front tire but no damage done, discovered some issues with Randy J. and friends 350s that hopefully will be easily fixed didnt get much riding done but it was a good shake out run before a bigger longer more distant trip like to the BadLands in Indiana or to Silver Lake in MI

My list of things to do on my 440 Pilot are adjust the front brakes all the adjusters probably just need about 1 click each tighter enough wear on the shoes has taken place to warrant a adjustment.

The rear brakes are not working right something is not right need to service them.

Continue to adjust the front suspension caster/camber is still not right getting too much feedback through the steering, works great just not 100% yet and not working as well as the +2" arms I took off.

Might have to go into the carb and see if it needs adjustments or cleaning I have a huge hesitation when you transition from idle to off idle, if you just gas and go it hesitates BAD if you super slowly easy increase the throttle from idle no hesitation, if you rev the Engine in neutral a few times the hesitation goes away 100% for a short while, the Pilot has been setting way too much for the past few years something inside this PWC carb (super BM 38mm) might have dried out or gummed up? It does seem to be getting better as I use it, not really a issue for me but its just not right, I have a spare carb I need to go through and setup maybe now is the time to do this and install to test so I know I have a known to be good spare.

Weather was perfect, almost too hot after 3pm, great breeze, almost no humidity, way too much DUST!!! I was driving blind most the day.

Everybody raves about the wolfsnount and how it fits under helmets or works without, how well it filters and is easy to clean, never seen that one before.

Checked out the wolfsnout. I thought it was a slang term you were using. Price looks very fair on them also.

Thanks Tpreed, I'll let you know. I think I might have a spare somewhere. Next time I get to the garage I'll look around and I'll let you know if I need them.
