This OHV area is in the Grand Junction, CO area, but it's not the popular area in Rabbit Valley or 27 road. It's very rarely used (I was there Saturday, Sunday and Monday and only saw 2 other guys on dirt bikes and they were leaving as I was coming in) off of US 50 in Whitewater.

I can also access it by riding through 1 street in my neighborhood. 3 minutes on pavement and I'm at miles of adventure.

Huge elevation changes, lots of trails, not sure why it's fallen out of favor but there's no one around anymore. Absolute blast on anything with 2 or 4 wheels. No water or shade or anything, but when you're 3 minutes from home you can hold your #2s.

I'm a huge fan of no crouds. That sounds like a dream come true.
