Nellis is the Air Force Base right there. I can get rooms there at the base cheap (20-40 bucks a night)if you want to shower. I have never rode the area but noticed all the trails from I-15 before. Thanks for checking it out David.

Holy Old Thread Batman!

Hey I live in Vegas. The Nellis dunes are part of the Apex OHV area. Pretty bad ass. Something like 18,000 acres of open riding. Everything from sand dunes, to rocky trails, to dirt, dust and clay. Pretty insane and have yet to cover all of it.

If anyone is in the LV area and wants to ride, hit me on on here. Would be happy to show you around Apex and there is also a pretty spiffy trails system on the other north side of town (to the west) at Mt. Charleston.
