Camping, primitive no organized places... Walmart camera... Zip tied to my Handle bars LOL Very redneck injunnewity LOL Yea it Sucks to be old Ha Ha I took more video as I was following a group who came out and rented some ATV's That was fun having someone to Follow! I personally like this place because it is so close to civilation! I don't have all the camper amnenities in the Peterbilt... I am seriously contemplating bringing the toyhauler and Pickup out west later this winter for a 2-4 week vacation... I haven't even scratched the surface of this place... I could have spent a few more days here but Duty calls... I am Headed to Barstow to pick up a military load to Ft. Bliss on El Paso. I want to try and stop in the Clifornia side of Parker and hit them trails too... I sure hope I can get everything to you to finish my motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) BEFORE you head West! If Not oh well Like they say you snooze you Loose LOL

Nellis is the Air Force Base right there. I can get rooms there at the base cheap (20-40 bucks a night)if you want to shower. I have never rode the area but noticed all the trails from I-15 before. Thanks for checking it out David. Gary |

Holy Old Thread Batman! Hey I live in Vegas. The Nellis dunes are part of the Apex OHV area. Pretty bad ass. Something like 18,000 acres of open riding. Everything from sand dunes, to rocky trails, to dirt, dust and clay. Pretty insane and have yet to cover all of it. If anyone is in the LV area and wants to ride, hit me on on here. Would be happy to show you around Apex and there is also a pretty spiffy trails system on the other north side of town (to the west) at Mt. Charleston. - Justin |
