43k acres sounds cool, looks like its going to get bigger.

and it will span 63,000 acres of space once the final stage is completed in 2011 and will offer over 300 miles of trails for motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides.

offroad.com is not my kind of site it looks like a kawisucki advertisement to me, now I remember why the Pilot Odyssey group abandon that site 10+ years ago...

In case you cant tell I spent about 30 seconds their before closing the page, soon as it started looking like a paid advertisement I left :-) Hopefully someone that has the stomach to weed through all that stuff can provide us that don't with the details lol

The web site sux...that's a given and most tabs don't work. Other than Kentucky I really can't tell where it is.

That place looks like just the place for a big Pilot/Odyssey/Drakart/Revolt/RZR get together. With gas creeping back up to 3 bux again is going to make getting the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) home out hard again this year. The closer the better for me. Just with the 300 miles of trails and 43k acres is enough to keep me busy for a while and its close to boot!!!

Go check it out Stoner and report back pronto!

Tom

As often as you take the MH out gas should not be that big of an issue, yours gets about 10 mpg ? It sucked buying gas for the bus on the last two trips (almost 10k miles) hopefully this fall it will go back down.

You never hear anything about gas prices on the news now the left wing homos are in the white house none of the left wing media makes a stink about it now their guy is in power lmao ...

Gas was 2.99 here seems they were scared to go to 3.00 then oil dropped about 11 bux a barrel over night, 3 days later gas went down to 2.98 a gallon then a day later 2.97 now its back up to 2.99 haha

Their is a bunch of trails down their in that area not long ago I found some I forget where I post it maybe Stoneman remembers ?

Your right it would be a great Midwest meeting area, great because its a new place to explore.

Actually my motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) home gets about 8 mpg. I did get 10 mpg empty when we went to Chicago last year but the wife was riding shot gun and keeping close watch on my speed. I'm sure I could squeeze 10 out if I drove it like I should.....I just find 70 to 80 much more enjoyable. People freak out when I pass them.

I know that it's not very smart to drive that fast but it sure shortens those long trips up and adds excitement.

Hi Tom,

I agree with you faster is more fun, with almost everything. Wow $3 a gallon? we got screwed with the metric system, they put petrol/gas up 10 to 12 cents a liter every week, that adds up to about 40 to 46 cents a US gallon.

If we still had the imperial system they would never get away with raising the price 45 cents a gallon, it just sounds too much. They get away with it because it doesn't sound that bad at 10 cents a liter. Not too many people here remember the old days of gallons. We pay around $6 a US gallon for premium at it's weekly peak and around $5.20 at the lower end.

I think std gas is about $1.35 at it's peak and around $1.20 at the lower end of the cycle. Do you guys have these petrol/gas cycles? Seems the price rises at the weekend and comes down on Tuesday/Wednesday. I still don't get how the price of gas in the petrol station tanks can fluctuate when i know they have not had a delivery at the higher price, maybe it's like wine, gets better with age!

Last week i pulled into a gas station to fill up at $1.32 a liter and didn't notice the price went up at the pump as i started filling up, had to pay at $1.45 a liter.

Cheers
