After last winter's hellacious 86" of Ohio snowfall + my first "real" winter living out in the windy drift-prone country, I decided my 48" plow on my Craftsman garden tractor wasn't enough. Found a 46" 2-stage blower for sale in SE MI, but I needed the (3) frame adapter brackets & 2 pins (5 parts). Found them on eReplacementParts.com for like $40. After a week, the parts shipped and arrived 2-3 days later. When I saw the box, I was a bit puzzled. The largest of the parts is 5" square x 2" thick....and the box was 36" x 15" x 8".

In other words THE BOX WAS EFFING HUGE!

The "box" was actually two 18" Lg boxes taped together. After searching through all the various types of packing materials, I find 4 of my 5 items. The last item...one of the 5" x 2" brackets...was nowhere to be found. But there was this 36" x 2" x 1/2" thk piece of wood in there. I pull it out. And its got the bracket's label stuck to it.

So...some moron actually thought this was the bracket???? And shipped it to me in a huge box??????? HILARIOUS!

I called their 1-866 number Saturday and was surprised that someone answered (she had a sexy voice, too, lol). They gave me an RMA# and emailed me the link for the USPS shipper. Once I had the shipper info done this morning, I had to call them back and provide the USPS Tracking number so they'd release the new/corrected order. Part is out of stock, so will take 7-11 days to get to their warehouse + 2-3 days from Midvale, Utah to NW Ohio.

Fun!

Also learned all they do is simply order the part from Sears/Craftsman, and then ship to me. Lesson learned...buy form the source if/when you can. Although, the price is the same on both sites.

As long as I get the right part, I'm happy. No snow on the ground yet.

Just silly...
