Might seem petty but the lifetime warranty that Auto Zone and Discount Auto used to offer is now a limited life time warranty. What dose that mean? You have a 60 or 90 day warranty. That's what a limited life time warranty means now.
Bought an alternator for my buggy and had to go online to find out the warranty info. My alternator came with a noisey bearing already installed for me. Lol. I rode with it and pulled it off and returned it right before my warranty was out of date.
So in 89 days I will take this one back and get another one. Yes the warranty period starts over with the replacement part.
Just something to keep in mind.

Yup that's just like the auto manufacturers when you buy a new car. When something shitts on it they try to find a way to get out of it like saying you didn't change your oil on time or at an approved facility. That's code for you didn't bring it to them every 5000km so they can rape you. Got a hell of story to tell about my brand new '89 S-10 that I bought way back in the day but this post would be several pages long.

2001 Chevy HD duramax. I've had it since new and Chevy screwed me several times. 60k miles and the transfer case locked up. No oil. Chevy always serviced it but it was my fault. 4000$ injectors and I was 100 miles out of warranty. Guess all of mine went out at exactly the same time.
Belive me I've been down that road and now they expect me to give them 62k $$ for a new truck. I don't think so ,,,I've fixed all the common issues people refer to as the "Duramax Tax" so I'm gonna drive it another 200k miles.
