Hi all, does anyone recognize this Pilot? I'm considering purchasing it and wanted to make sure there was not anything obviously wrong with it that I am missing. Thanks for any info you may have on it or see in the pictures.

Thanks,
Ted

Other than the bent cage it looks like a nice stock Pilot, how much he asking if you don't mind me asking?

The bent cage is a easy fix, first time you do a endo you will bend it the same as you see in the pics.

That actually looks like the angle the picture was taken at. I would say it looks pretty dam good myself. Is it close to you to take for a spin or long distance?

Hey Ted,

I see youre in Prattville, I recently moved to Wetumpka from Orlando. If this pilot is in the area and you want some help checking it out let me know and Id be glad to take a look at it with you. Pictures can hide lots of things but that looks really nice ride.

Where do you plan to ride...anywhere around here???? I havent hooked up with anyone that knows where to ride around here. Other then the ride in Ocala last month mine has been setting in the garage for 6 months collecting dust.

shoot me a email if you want to chekc out the pilot or ride when you get it .

Doug

Hey guys, thanks for the help however this appears to be a "phising" scam. Here is the ad that I found regarding this pilot...note the price...happens to be less than 1000 British Pounds...note for later.

For Sale - 1989 Honda Pilot
$1,860.00
626084
Excellent condition. Contact me at: dianeadamsz@yahoo.com for further info and photos. , Port Chester Respond to this ad 3/12/2006

The email address had the name of Diane Adams. They also used an echo email address of mcycle@comcast.net which is a valid email but apparently not associated with this person or pilot.

The ad came from www.mcmart.com I made contact and quickly found out that this seller would only transact via an escrow company that is bogus and the only phone number was a fax located in England. Here is their website...notice how poorly it is done. http://www.europe-triple-transaction.com/ Also, the Port-Chester location is a city in both England and New York.

Be careful and be wary!

Ted

Odykid - Thanks! I figured it was too good to be true...

Doug - Welcome to 'Bama... I've only lived here since Jul 06 and will be moving in June to Enid, OK near Little Sahara. I'm currently rideless but searching diligently for the right ride. I've heard that there is some good trail riding up in the Talladega forest but I've not been there. Supposedly real good riding up in TN & KY as well. If I get a ride before June we'll certainly have to hook up!
