New scam attempt method, I received this today:

I've been doing the eBay thing for seven years and this one is new to me.

He sent this through eBay's own message center so you'll get it in your message inbox. I bet most people will fall for it to, it's a brillaint method to acquire eBay ID's and passwords.

I notified eBay immediately so hopefully they can correct any damage he's already done by tracing his messages.

I'm sure the eBay ID he's using is hijacked as well.

Watch out!

Here is what I got when I tried to plug that link into Firefox, gotta love Firefox!

IE Explorer do that?


The page didnt even load and it was warning me...

Firefox is FREE!

Tried it in my IE 6.0


I never use IE and this is another example why!

I couldn't open it in IE. My norton blocks it and says it is a fraudulant page.
Didn't try firefox

I'm using IE7, and no I didn't even try to hit it, the link made it obvious.

No reply from eBay yet, very unusual.
