I see you got the bug again! Looks like a fun project, I have to admire your ability to take one down to the frame and then bring it back to life, lots of little plastic baggies and saying"now where did this bolt go"! . I always like the Camaros and theres not many 70's models at the shows, lots of first gens though. I sold the Mercury and took on another project, just getting her road ready, 69 Cutlass

Good looking car & a drop top to boot. Very nice! This past sumner was stinking hot, I didn't put the top down once on our 68.

Once last update on the 74... We've been driving it for about a week or so and the car is just a joy to drive. I was able to recharge the AC and get it working which is a real asset here in our hot climate. I just listed the car for sale on our local craigs list so hopefully it will be make someone a nice daily driver..

Nothing like adding freon to an old AC system and cold air starts to flow out the vents, you know its gonna be a good day :-)

I know what you mean about the ride difference.
I use to hop out of my 67 and into my buddys 71 or 72, I forget, and It felt totally different.
Seats are about 3" off the floor too.
Very cool car, nice job!
