Well for the sake of forum content here's what I did over the weekend.Made a FG mould from my good Cox for the others repair. All went well and came off free of trouble.Used only Canauba wax for release agent.
Reminds me I still have a full set of 350 fender FG moulds in my blokeshed still.
Its got me thinking of making some buggy bits.

Very nice work.
You need to put one of my grenades under that ejection seat to clear any Engine run aways.

What!
No modification for larger cold one can.
I bet it broke from hard use. If there was a can holder in that slot.

Maybe a idea to incorporate into a new pilot/ ody fenders. Can on each side with a long lines and and a tee with a restricted return line. Than CO and others can check the flow rate and do a video.

I'll tie mine into the compression stroke of my shock to act as a pump. Then if I need more intake I can go hit a jump or two or three, you get the picture. Then I can re valve the shock for maximum intake velocity at a given flow rate.

I popped out the cast fender bit this morning. All went well and came out a lot easier than anticipated.Mainly due to some added insurance in PVA release agent over the canauba wax.
It's not perfect but good enough for this ol mulletman!
Then had to figure a way of mating the 2 as best as possible.
So I used my ol vinyl trick.VAD.Vinyl Aided Design.
Better than CAD-cardboard aided design.
The see through vinyl template is way bettererrrr especially when you have all the curves and profiles to mate up.
The vinyl being flexible contours to the shape and easier to mark unlike cardboard.
Fitted it up and hit it with some primer just on dark ready for paint tomorrow arvo.

I'm also impressed - never thought of using fiberglass on my COX. :-) Its a good thing you waxed it first.

I guess that's how they do it downunder.

The real question is how the hell did you break it? I suspect beer was involved.

Impressive. Very nice work.
I don't think there was any beer involved during this rebuild, otherwise it would be crooked.

Definitely sober while doing the repair. I was implying that beer may have been involved in the process that originally damaged his Cox.

A guys has to take care of his Cox.
