don't know if this is applicable to this section cause its already finished, but this is one buggy i prepared ealier. I bought it as a basic bare boned rolling chassis with Suzuki GSX 1100 installed on mounts. Typical story about a guy who started it,full of enthusiasm, ran out of puff, cause all these 5 minute jobs actually take 5 hours each, so i bought it off him thinking me and the brats will finish it off in 3-4 months..HA! Double Ha! It took about 14 months and lots of words like @#!$% and *$&^# to just finish off the remaining so called easy hookups, clutch, steering, seat, gear linkages, electrics, panels paint etc etc,you get the picture. Anyway by the time i finished it all my circumstances and growing kids had changed, so i sold it and my 4 Odys to get the 89&90 Pilots in from SoCal. Anyway thought i would share some pics of it...Baz
PS.I made it with seperate front and rear brake pedals and hand clutch on gear shifter.

This has a very interesting suspension design. How well does it perform?

G'Day Toyman and Bugpac, the suspension uses a pushrod onto a bellcrank which then pushes on the coil over shock. It's designed to convert up-down and lateral movement thru to longitudinal chassis movement thereby aiming to have a nuetral twisting chassis, like the F1 Cars.Does that make sense?

but the shock in tern moves so slow copared to the suspension movement, how well does it work or ride actually, as ideal shock to travel ratio is 1.5 to 1, were that bellcrank is about 4 to 1...

It seemed fine but a bit stiff, firm. I did'nt get much testing time with it due to having too many projects on the go ( 2 x 350 Ody Engine and trans overhauls) plus i had an injured lower back( sciatica) where the disc bulges or herniates onto the sciatic nerve, extremely painful and i was bedridden for a week.Even going to the toilet made you cry...sorry...too much information!
