Just finished my new toy hauler from an ex boat trailer with break-back and cable-pull disc brakes. Has all new under carriage and new ali trayback with dropsides. Is about 4.5 m long, 15ft, holds 2 Pilots end to end and kids cr85 and cr125. No more multiple loading/unloading...Woohoo!...Baz

G'Day Tom, it's middle of summer here and bloody HOT! This weekend just gone was about the 40 deg Celcius mark, bout 104 F, and would'nt you know it, also the weekend that i had to dismantle the trailer again to finish off all the chassis prep for the cold gal painting. The trailer ali tray is about 15ft long.
On the upside tho, all that hard sweatin work sure did make the brew taste sweeter at BEER O'CLOCK. :-) Baz

Well, finished off all the little fiddly bits today, and took it for a test ride. So far so good, just need to get it thru registration on Monday. Wish me luck!
At the end of it all, celebrated with a few coldies, and so did Squirty, our Ringneck Parrot. :-) Baz

Excellent, I was pleasantly surprised. The reason i went single axle was for easier manouvering down the side of the house. With the dual axle i have, it grabs n distorts the brick paving. Very hard to turn into tight spaces when both wheels are fighting each other. With future trips i will test out the suspension and axle placement and adjust as needed. This coming weekend is a holiday , Australia Day,Yipee! so good excuse to load up the Pilots,MX Bikes, BEER! missus n kids and head to Seabird for camping, fishing, buggying etc. Only downside is that it's the same time and place that i found out my mum had died from a heart attack,4 yrs ago,so it's a sacred site to me, so i will be remembering and celebrating her as well.
The temps are going to be around 38 deg C ...100 F, so will suit me fine. Will try an get pics n vids. :-)
