Never been to the Louvre,so I thought I'd make my own. :-)
Keeping up with the French Connection,I mod'd up some rear Louvres from my Mate's Ol'
Ford Fairlane rear window set.Cut the ends off, overlapped them over the Drak rear, cut thru them to have Mating cut,
and then plate underneath with the matching offcut profiles and fix with glue n rivets.Like a big semi protected air box.
The louvres are overlapping and have small upturned flashings builtin. This way it still allows the airflow needed for rad cooling and keeping out fallin' critters, air borne beer cans!
Next is to glue on knobs to finger turn the 1/4 turn plastic keepers,so as to eliminate screw driver.
Then finish up with some Gloss Black spray vinyl paint resto.

Looks good! I think you have disguised it enough that your buddy will not recognize that it came off of his car!

It helps to keep the Engine bay, clutches ,belt and filters clean n dry from clay, mud and light rain when racing.
While still allowing air flow thru radiator/eng bay for cooling.
I don't think it looks ugly, but of course each to their own.
Oh and as T said,it's not a pilot but a Drakart.
