Some pics from when I rebuilt brooks 350 trans. The failure was the caged needle bearing for the AB gear. A couple different pullers to get it apart. This trans was pretty straight forward but had many more parts than my rpm trans in the briggs. All of brooks gears were in excellent condition with the exception of the AB gear. They were better than the new trans that he bought for parts. This trans received all new bearings and seals and a used AB gear and shaft.

Ahhhh.....fond memories......I have rebuilt 7 now and have two more to do. One trans that I rebuilt had the pre recall gear mesh ring. It only has everyother tooth on it. It was in a trans that didn't have an X stamped on it up on top by the selector switch.
