This Pilot is no beauty queen but solid. Looking for help as to what it is worth if I put it up for sale.

All done by ATV Racing. Long Travel kit with AXIS Shocks, 500 jug (spare 500 jug needs sleeve), radiator relocate, New ATV Racing muffler, sand and dirt tires with beadlocks. left rear dirt tire has slow leak, Beard seat and after market seat belt, ATV Racing Front Bumper. Fenders are not new but no major damage.

Any help would be appreciated. Looking for a Drakart with 4 stroke.

Hey Hoser, nice to hear from you.. I will only let it go for a GOOD price until I find the right Drak. I will take single or double seat. Should just hang onto the pilot with the drak, spare you know. I need to stay off that kfx 700, it will hurt me bad one day but it is great around the property at the house.

What size are those rear tires. Do they perform well with the 500, if not, what would you recommend, more less paddles/size?. Sorry to see it go. I remember it at the dunes but i guess I didnt realize it was a 500. I just bought a 500LT and don't need another one,lol but I wish I had know you were parting with it and I would have given you a shout out. When I was looking I asked Mark in Ponca City, he wasn't interested in selling his500. I paid 8k for mine, I got some extra parts with the sale.

I am not sure it is going anywhere, I definately won't give it away. It would be a great spare if something happens to the Drak if I find one. I am not sure on the paddle tire size, will have to look. Whatever they are they worked fine, just the right amount of tire and paddle for all conditions, I just change the air pressure for wet and dry sand.

Ed, do have a title or certificate of origin for this Pilot by chance?
Also what time frame are you looking for in regards to doing a sale please?
Do you have any information as too hrs on motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), jug size, compression?,pictures of that Engine as well would be cool indeed to view :-)
Any known history as too previous owners?
Thanks!

I do not have a title of any sort. I purchased this one back east 3-4 years ago without paperwork.
Unless someone offered me a crazy amount of money for the pilot I will have to hang onto it until I see where my new buggy is coming from.
I may even keep it as a spare ride for others as it is a solid Pilot.
The 7500 ballpark does not make me want to jump to a sale.. It is loaded with two sets of tires and wheels.
I do not know anything about its past owners. All I know about the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) is that ATV Racing put a NEW 500 jug on it, ported and polished. I have the old jug that they said needs a new sleeve put in. That is why they got the new jug instead of just cleaning my old one up.
This pilot has sat for 2 years, only fired up and driven around the property to keep it fresh.

Looking like I will hang onto the pilot for a while. A buddy has an Extreme drak I am going with that has a metro with turbo. If that does not do it for me i will have to find a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) to put in it. I am getting older, maybe that will be enough for me now. Old blue seems to make Dennis and Jerry happy. This is a metro turbo motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), not a added turbo. We will see.

30 late 40's, lets call it all the same.. I am getting the itch, and I hate that feeling, not sure anibiotics will cure what I have. When all said and done, here is the plan. Drakman and I are going to plan a early Spring trip to Little Sahara. We will bring the new motorhome, new Drak and Old Pilot. (maybe KFX 700 too, just in case) All will be informed of possible dates so we can get as many out there as we can. Woo hoo.. That is the plan: All purchasing has been done, just have to put it together. I am blaming Drakman while talking to my better half!!!!

"I got a fever...any the only prescription is more sand not cowbell". If you bring the kfx don't leave it unattended with the keys in it.. heh heh. We are ready to ride and with this springtime weather here in Oklahoma, yea 70's this weekend, the itch is even worse.

Have you ever ridden a kfx 700. No real high end speeds but gets there right now.. Mine has the dual exhaust and sounds like a harley. V Twin flat gets it.. Drakman rode it once and does not want to ride it again he said.

No I have not. I should have bought one when I was wanting a quad, I instead got a 400ex, and ended up selling it. I think I would have liked the Kawies automatic much better. And the power of course

ONly downfall to hte kfx 700 is its size if you like to jump, it is heavy. That is why I purchased it, heavy and easier to stay on. It is spunky, remind me next time you want to try it out.

I think I would like a heavier quad for cruising on the sand. Ill might take you up on the test ride. You will have to jump in my LT500 and give me a critique compared to yours.

Should be the same if they are both LT.. I want to get someone who knows the clutch on these pilots to help me with hte LT Pilot, it just doesnt rap out like it should. Ran like a bat out of hell from the time I bought it then that cylinder gave up. Just not as spunky as it use to be.
