Nice!

You could recoup some of the cost by reselling the seats too.....

Mine's getting a bit crowded lately......

Did I hear someone say "Hoser's Glamis Big Adventure"??

So how exactly do you load the Pilots? Modify the rear wall with some sort of hinge mechanism?

This might be the way to go.. Remove the head knocker limitations and other wasted space
of the stock body.

During the rebuild I could lower the floor height by about 3" and make it 6" wider.

Is the 366ci Engine the same as a GM 6.0 liter? I know they must be about the same displacement, if not the same thing.

Yeah I pretty sure it is the 6.0 this use to be the 427 tall deck Engine now its
366 cid not sure what they changed to make it a 366 tho.

I read up on the 366 a while back and they said the Engine was design for 250k miles
it has 4 rings not 3 like most engines and is all beefed up forged steel crank thick
block, stronger rods than used in pickups etc.

Ok trying to make up a mental material list for the bus, I want to cut the back out and
make it a fold down ramp door so I took some quick measurments and figure I can
get a door 60" to 64" tall and 89" wide following the white outline in the pics
below.

The bus would look good setting in your front yard with us cutting and grinding on it all
hours of the day and night lol I might need to make a material run by your place when
it comes time to buy the materials I need.

I just measured my Drak, it is 58" to the roof, add about 6-8" for the flagpole if it were attached and pulled down over the front like I normally have it.

UPDATE

Ok the seats and old flooring is out and gone, got 23 bux at the recycle place for the metal parts of the seats, the old rubber floor mat is history leaving behind a 3/4" ply wood floor as a solid base and a blank canvas.

Not sure what I want to do with the floor, think I will just sand it flat, fill the holes and paint it for now, I would like to do it from front to back with solid oak flooring :-) it would make a nice shop floor

I guess my next move is to enlarge the rear door so I can load ATV's, most if not ALL the side windows are going to be removed I will probably install at least one BIG RV window on the drivers side so I can look out whilst eating at the kitchen table, still up in the air on a window for the drivers side I don't use the window on that side much in my regular RV.

Wish their was a 'pimp my RV' show now would be a good time to make mine over heh

I think there is some do it yourself rino lining stuff you can buy and either spray or roll on. Would be durable, water and fuel proof, might be a bit costly for the size, but could be a good lasting floor.

And, is 'ol 66 gonna be ready for the summer of 6s ride?

Weather was nice today so I put some primer on the outside, their is a few rust holes in the rear quaters but is a easy fix I can remove the rivets and replace the flat metal at any time, first I want to get it on the road and try it out then I can spruce it up in the future.
