Sorry Fatcat, its wrapped up til warmer weather to finish. Electrical system, finish mounting the coolant system, few other odds n ends....probably have it running in a good weekend of work.

Elk IS great!!! Thinking about a St Joes ride (south of St Louis, Mo)in June with family. I will be grilling lots of elk, come visit with us!

I'll plan on it! Will put a time frame on getting my odyssey ready. I've been told that's a really nice place. Randy? Denuch? Hoser? Straight shot down 55. Let me know when you come up with a date. That's me slow season at work. I can make that happen.

Its still wrapped up. We just had another blizzard and have 6-7 foot deep snow drifts all over. My garage is not heated so no work yet. I should start within a month. Basically install the electronics and plumb the fuel lines, then find some 110 octane fuel. :-)

Pulled the Beastie out of the drift, untarped it and clearing room in the garage. Parked next to elite special kids 350....looks like it means business! Lol

Hey Bazmainian Devil! I have not forgot the dune periscope, actually going to post a picture of the one I made! Lol

I love the Spider tracks, I have 2 sets but they are getting dry rot. Super aggressive bite...almost too much cornering on tacky dirt. Sure wish they still made them. Never ran ITP Realtors but thought they looked good too.

Is this a bolt on front end .? Did you make It ? Where did it come from? lol
Sorry for all the questions I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Someone stole my thunder.
I was fixing to start on oddy #2. May hit you up for some picks of a few things on yours if you don't mind.

Also I had asked about the ball joint mod myself. You can search it. Seems to be a pretty simple mod
and you could get youre camber dialed in.

I bought the kit from a guy who makes them in his spare time in California 2 years ago. I bought the "tack" welded version for $100 less and and welded it myself, also bought the braided brakeline kit for $100 more. I believe it was $700 or $800 dollars. I asked him if was alright if I make copies of it for my own use...not to resale to others. He said it was fine with him. I still have not, waiting to see how I like it first then make more or mod them to what I like. So far I likey!!!! lol

I will see if I can find the name of the guy or contact/website info. I got flooded that June and may have lost the original paperwork.

Ya, that's his board name. Did some searching, found a few arguements with TurboTexas . I also found some of my original emails from Jan 2011 when I ordered the kit. He was busy at his full time job and couldnt build mine til May or so. Pretty sure I got the last kit he built. His website has been long closed it looks like too. Its like he quit altogether n disappeared.

I wonder if anyone here is interested in building them? Speedchaser, H, Mud, anyone else???? I don't think I trust myself to do a good enough job, but may try if no one will. I would pull mine back off as a test subject. Any weak areas or "bad design areas" can be reinforced or improved upon. I am sure I would like another couple of these setups. My least favorite thing about 350s is the short travel suspension.

I had read up on some of his stuff I didnt know if it was his or not. is the front wider than the back
now? i have my tubeing bender in the works. So I was going to try and come up with something like
that but I like shubadaba set ups also. Buggy no 1 is about where I want it. And I have been kicking
around different Ideas on buggy no 2 long travel is one of them. So with the bender I sould be able
to come up with something but I may need some info from you if that's ok.

Thanks Darrell

Absolutely, ask away. I will do my best to answer. Several inches wider in the front, guess I could measure how much.

By looking at the pics the bolt on job verses weld on. The weld on would seem to be narrower.
If you don't mind would you mesure it for me ? You think bump steer is going to be ok with that
set up ? Thanks again for the info
